Right next door to the Cooper's Oak Winery is A & K Cooperage. Maker's of fine American Oak Barrels for over 40 years. Cooper's Oak Winery and A & K Cooperage are the only Bonded Winery and Cooperage on the same grounds in the United States.Tours of the Cooperage are available during business hours. Cooperage hours are Monday-Friday 7A.M.- 3P.M. Closed on Saturday and Sunday.
The Cooperage makes 30, 48, 60 and 70 gallon American and French oak barrels. Toasted over an oak fire with still much hand work involved in the process. Come visit and try some wine out of barrels that were sourced from local woods and made into fine oak barrels next door.
